Joe Fontana
Joe was born in Beaumont, Texas. He was a four year varsity player at West Brook High School playing forward and sweeper. He was All District for three years and was All State his junior year. He is an alumni of Spindletop Select Soccer Club and has played with the Dallas Texans. He played in college at Fort Lewis College in Colorado and was named the Best Up and Coming Freshman. At the ripe age of nineteen Joe began coaching a boy's team at Spindletop Select, which won the state title as a Super 2 Team. He qualified that team as a Division 1 team and ultimately qualified in the premier division. That team was invited to participate in the Disney International Tournament. Joe also coaches at Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School (taking that job at the age of 22) and he took his team to state the first year and to the regional finals for the next two years.

Rachel Scoggin
Rachel grew up playing competitve soccer with the Magic and Sting in Dallas, Texas, and went on to play collegiately at Baylor University.  While in high school, Rachel had a very successful soccer career as a goalkeeper at Lake Highlands High School as a 3-year varsity player.  Following her soccer career in college, Rachel began coaching and teaching at Westbrook High School in Beaumont, Texas.  She has become nationally certified as a personal trainer and holds a D Soccer Coach’s License.

ben swoboda
Ben has a tremendous amount of soccer experience, knowledge and love for the game.  He has been playing soccer for over 20 years.  He grew up playing the game in Orange, Texas, where he was born and raised.  In 1995 and 1999, Ben played for soccer teams that advanced all the way to the state tournament.  Ben played 3 successful years at West Orange-Stark High School. Since high school, Ben has continued actively being involved with soccer in his capacity as a referee.  He is FIFA and TASO certified.  Currently, Ben is a student at Lamar University pursuing a degree in Exercise Science and actively involved with the New Academy Program at Spindletop Select Soccer Club.  Ben enjoys sharing his love and enthusiasm for the game with the future soccer stars of southeast Texas.

Jonathan Lovoi
Jonathan grew up playing competitive soccer with Spindletop Select Soccer Club and the Houston Texans.  He was a member of the ODP state team and regional pool.  He played for both Kelly and Westbrook soccer teams in Beaumont, Texas, earning a spot on the varsity team all four years.  He was the captain of his high school soccer team his junior and senior years.  As a midfielder, Jonathan played collegiately at University of California at Berkley.  Jonathan and his family have made a huge impact on competitve soccer in the golden triangle area for over 20 years.
